Optical Instrument Lab, inc. started off as a local supplier of glass and over the years has grown into a
worldwide supplier and specialized parts manufacturer. We currently manufacture parts for many different
industries and major corporations such as NASA, IBM, Halliburton, Texas Instruments, and many others.
Some of our more notable projects include manufacturing screens and lenses for cameras,
teleprompters,infrared and ultraviolet devices, specialized NVIS lenses for helicopters and other aircraft,
fire-prevention equipment, laboratory equipment,and machine vision parts for sorting machines.
We also supply many colleges and universities with laboratory equipment, glass, and optics, including Rice,
Rockefeller College, the University of Houston, and dozens of other universities. Our office is fully stocked
with all Schott products, and we carry many other types of glass including Pyrex, Borofloat, Kopp, Hoya filters,
